1) Information on the Collection of Personal Data and Contact Details of the Controller

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of personal data and other confidential content (e.g. orders or enquiries sent to the controller), this website uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the “https://” and the lock symbol in your browser’s address bar.


2) Data Collection When Visiting Our Website

When you simply visit our website for information, i.e. if you do not register or transmit information to us in any other way, we only collect the data that your browser transmits to our server (so-called “server log files”). When you access our website, we collect the following data, which are technically necessary for us to display the website:

  • The page(s) you visited on our site

  • Date and time of access

  • Amount of data sent (bytes)

  • Source/referrer from which you reached the page

  • Browser used

  • Operating system used

  • IP address used (possibly in anonymised form)

Processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in improving the stability and functionality of our website. The data will not be transferred or used in any other way. We reserve the right to check server log files retrospectively if there are specific indications of unlawful use.


3) Cookies

To make visiting our website attractive and to enable certain functions, we use cookies on various pages. Cookies are small text files stored on your device.

Some cookies are deleted when you close your browser (session cookies). Other cookies remain on your device and allow us or our partner companies (third-party cookies) to recognise your browser on your next visit (persistent cookies). Legal basis:

  • Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding).

  • If the request aims at contract performance: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Your data will be deleted once your enquiry is fully resolved unless legal retention obligations apply.


5) Use of Customer Data for Direct Marketing

5.1 Newsletter Subscription

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we will send regular updates about our offers. Only your email address is required; additional details are voluntary.

We use a double opt-in process. You will receive a confirmation email requesting verification.

With activation of the confirmation link, you consent to processing your data (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). We store your IP address, date and time of registration to trace potential misuse.

You may unsubscribe at any time via a link in the newsletter or by contacting us. After unsubscribing, your address will be deleted from the mailing list unless you have consented to additional use.

5.2 Newsletter to Existing Customers

If you provided your email when purchasing goods/services, we may send you offers for similar products/services (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR in conjunction with §7(3) UWG). You may object at any time.


6) Web Analytics

Google (Universal) Analytics

This website uses Google (Universal) Analytics, provided by Google Ireland Limited. Cookies are used to generate analytics data. IP addresses are anonymised via the _anonymizeIp() function.

Data may be transmitted to Google LLC (USA). Google processes this data on our behalf to analyse website usage, compile reports, and provide related services. IP addresses are not merged with other Google data.

Google Analytics also includes “demographic features” (age, gender, interests). These cannot be linked to a specific person.

All Google Analytics processing occurs only with your express consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Without consent, Google Analytics is not activated.

Consent may be withdrawn at any time via the cookie consent tool.

We have a data processing agreement with Google. Transfers to the USA rely on Standard Contractual Clauses.

7) Tools and Other Services

7.1 Google Web Fonts

Used to display uniform fonts. Your browser connects to Google servers; personal data may be transferred to Google LLC (USA). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

7.2 Google reCAPTCHA

We use reCAPTCHA to differentiate humans from bots. Your IP address and further data required by Google are transmitted. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (interest in preventing misuse/spam).

Where required, consent was obtained (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

7.3 Applications by Email

If you apply via email, we process all personal data required to assess suitability:

  • Personal details (name, address, contact details)

  • Qualification-related documents

  • Health data where legally required (Art. 9 GDPR exceptions)

Legal basis:

  • Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR

  • Art. 9(2)(b) or (h) GDPR (for special categories)

If you are not selected, your data is deleted after 6 months. For successful applications, data are stored for employment purposes.

7.4 Online Applications (Form)

Applications via our online form are transmitted encrypted and processed under the same rules as email applications.


8) Rights of the Data Subject

You have the following rights:

  • Right of access – Art. 15 GDPR

  • Right to rectification – Art. 16 GDPR

  • Right to erasure – Art. 17 GDPR

  • Right to restriction of processing – Art. 18 GDPR

  • Right to notification – Art. 19 GDPR

  • Right to data portability – Art. 20 GDPR

  • Right to withdraw consent – Art. 7(3) GDPR

  • Right to lodge a complaint – Art. 77 GDPR

8.2 Right to Object

If we process your data based on legitimate interest, you may object at any time for reasons relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). We will stop processing unless compelling legitimate grounds override your interests or processing serves legal claims.

If your data are used for direct marketing, you may object at any time, and we will stop such processing.


9) Duration of Storage of Personal Data

Storage duration depends on:

  • Legal basis

  • Processing purpose

  • Statutory retention periods (commercial/tax laws)

Data processed based on consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) are stored until consent is withdrawn.

Data under Art. 6(1)(b) are stored until necessary for the contract and beyond where legally required.

Data under Art. 6(1)(f) are stored until you exercise your right to object (unless overriding interests apply).

If no other rules apply, data are deleted once they are no longer needed for their purpose.
